….and it starts to happen all at once!!!

Not that I am complaining.  I have been trying to get more yoga out into the community to reach special populations folks for 2 years now or more.  I am thrilled to say that it is happening!  BUT…it is happening all at once!  I have more requests coming in and I am juggling calendars and trying to figure this whole scheduling thing out.

I have to be very careful and not OVER schedule myself.  I just stopped from agreeing to do 2 sessions at a workshop and teach a new senior group all on the same day on opposite sides of town!  The first sign that I was taking it a bit too far was when I thought if I laid all of my calendars on the floor maybe I could see more clearly how to do it all in one day.  :-O  Better decision was to stop a moment, take a breath and start the new thing a week later and keep the first commitment I made to the workshop.  WHEW!!  Those that know me understand how I may have found myself in this predicament.

I need to remember despite my excitement the first person that needs to be healthy so this can all come to fruition is ME!  I must take care of myself and not take on more than I can handle.  I have friends who are ready to help me out in this venture when I say it’s time.  Hang on fellow teachers, that time may be coming!!

Going to have a quiet night with the Hubby. Will keep you posted!!

Today’s Gatha:

The mind is like a puppy, wandering endlessly and delighting in each new distraction.  With amusement and great affection, I patiently gather my mind again and again as gently and lovingly as I would a puppy.  By training my own mind, I cultivate the patience and equanimity to deal with other distractions.

Namaste,

Sarah
