answering the previous question…..

One of my Mom’s favorite things to say was “the hurrydier I go, the behinder I get.”   She would say this a lot to me when I would rush to get one thing done so that I could move to another thing. Always encouraging me to do my best at every task.

What I have learned since my last blog is that the busier I stay… the better I feel!!  Don’t get me wrong, I am mastering how to rest when there is time.  Like when new Moms learn to sleep when the baby sleeps.  When there is time in a day to relax, I make sure I do that! I schedule what needs to be done around home like I do everything else so I am not always playing catch up with things that may not be on my class schedule.

I also think my CRS is improving.  It’s subtle but I can tell a difference.  (for those of you that may be new to this blog CRS is Can’t Remember Stuff) I don’t know why that would be but it’s different!  Maybe I am staying more focused on tasks since there are more of them and I am paying attention in a different way so that I can remember!!

I just counted!  I teach 12 classes a week now!!  Who knew THAT would happen!?  Again, I need to remember to REST!  It makes me tired just to hear that number.  Will of course keep you posted on how I feel.

Todays Gatha:

Every moment can be used to gain insight and from that calm arises.  I aim to practice constant mindfulness.  This brings tranquility and insight.  I can sustain wisdom even in the midst of ordinary activities and distractions.

Namaste,

Sarah
